About this tool
Most MSMEs make a budget once a year and never look at it again. The money leaks in small amounts: travel, conveyance, daily allowance, repairs, "other". This dashboard puts every rupee against its budget so you see the leak in the month it starts, not at year end.
It comes loaded with a sample sales team (5 people, 4 travel heads, 12 months) so you can see how it works. Replace it with your own heads, your own people and your own numbers.

Can I upload data from Tally?
Yes. Export a ledger or expense report from Tally to Excel, keep four columns (Month, Person/Branch, Head, Amount) and upload it here. The file is read on your device only.
What do the colours mean?
Green: under 90% of budget. Amber: 90 to 100%. Red: over budget.
Should the budget be the same every month?
Not always. Festive months and audit months cost more. Start flat, then adjust after three months of actuals.
